Эффективный способ чистки серебра

в наличии у нас имеется крестик нательный (под`нял его примерно с пол года назад)

для начала попробуем его почистить (в домашних условиях)

способов много... нам нужно чтобы было быстро и дёшево...

большую ёмкость для замеса ИМХО брать нет смысла поэтому...

для начала сыпем соду (следите чтобы не было комков)

включаем вытяжку, открываем окно,

заливаем соду нашатырным спиртом и ждём пока он смочит соду целиком

излишки нашатыря аккуратно сливаем.

в получившуюся массу аккуратно опускаем крестик.

через несколько секунд достаём его и с помощью пальцев этой же кашицей аккуратно чистим крестик

чистит быстро, долго мучиться не придётся.

От сбея прокомментирую, способ отличный, при чем сильно не портит поле монеты или любую другую металлопластику, так как механика не значительная, когда трется аккуратно пальцами.

монета сравнительно чистая, поэтому мучить дополнительно её не вижу необходимости.

если будет сильно горячее то на серебре появится конденсат и покрасится каплями.

по времени, в зависимости от того какой цвет хочешь получить...

пояснения (возможно правельные) не мои...

патинирование ГРУЗИНСКОЕ - читал про него под этом названием...

 

2Ag + H2S+1/2O2-> Ag2S+ H2O
Патина - сульфид серебра (Ag2S, роговое серебро).

Ag2S + H2O2 -> 2Ag + H2S + O2

Перекись его разрушила, с выделением сероводорода и энергии (повышением температуры).

Мытьем Ag2S не ушел бы.
Для тех же целей (снятия рогового серебра) используют гидразин.

А оловянистую бронзу чистить таким методом можно?Даст такой же эффект?

А можно прокипетить  на медленном огне в соде, кому нашатырь не нравиться... зелень минут за 10 уходит
